Dr. Jeffrey Abboud
Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Jeffrey Abboud is a certified Plastic Surgeon with the CPSO. He has been in practice since 1995. He began his career as an American board certified Plastic Surgeon in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Abboud operates in his own OHP level 2 facility at 770 Broadview Ave, Ottawa and the Arnprior Hospital.
Elizabeth Lavoie NP
Nurse Practitioner
Elizabeth Lavoie is a Nurse Practitioner, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. She has almost 20 years of experience working in a variety of roles within the primary health care field: emergency room, rural medicine, international development, tropical medicine, SARS crisis management, and much more.
Monica Bousada RN
Registered Nurse
Monica Bousada is a Registered Nurse, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Her professional journey encompasses diverse experiences in the hospital settings including general surgery, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and endoscopy.

Meet the APSC Staff
Amy has been working in office administration for several years since graduating from the Medical Office Administration program at Algonquin College. She also holds Certification for Medical Device Reprocessing. Amy is the person you will first meet when you enter the APSC clinic. She handles a multitude of day to day tasks involved with keeping the office running smoothly. Amy’s natural ease with patients and staff is a great asset to our practice. Carol Connolly has been with the Abboud Plastic Surgery Centre for over 17 years. Carol runs the financial side of the clinic including the accounting, marketing and social media. Madison graduated from Algonquin College in 2018 as a Registered Practical Nurse. She works part time at St. Vincents Hospital and is certified to administer cosmetic injectables.

Jessica graduated from the Practical Nursing program from the Centre for Nursing Studies in St. John’s Newfoundland in 2016. Jessica has recently completed the Operating Room for Registered Practical Nurses program through Algonquin College and works part time in the operating room at The Ottawa Hospital General Campus.
