Indications
This procedure is ideal for the person who is bothered by sagging jowls with loose skin at the cheek and sides of the neck.
Procedure
The Mini Facelift repositions sagging jowls and removes loose skin in the cheek and neck area. Liposuction of the full neck is also performed in this procedure to enhance contour of the neck and tightening of the skin. The incisions are hidden along the natural contours of the front and back of the ears.
Anesthesia
The Mini Facelift is performed under local anesthesia with oral sedation in the privacy of APSC in-office Operating Room or under general anesthesia/IV Sedation in the privacy of a third-party Level 3 Operating Room.

A respected leader in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Jeffrey Abboud brings more than 30 years of experience and a record of surgical excellence to his private practice in Ottawa. Born and raised in the capital, Dr. Abboud is known for his meticulous technique, compassionate care, and unwavering commitment to delivering natural, refined results.
Dr. Abboud earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 1987, followed by an internship at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He completed rigorous training in General Surgery at Boston University, Boston Massachusetts and further specialized through a one-year Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Boston, MA, and a comprehensive two-year residency in Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Ohio. Recognized for his skill and dedication, Dr. Abboud was appointed Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Beth Israel Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, where he was actively involved in patient care and surgical education. During this time he served as an active staff member at several hospitals in the Boston area.
Dr. Abboud became Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1997. From 1997 to 2003, he built a thriving community-based practice on Boston’s South Shore before returning to Ottawa in 2003 to establish his current practice. His expertise was further recognized in 2011 when he received certification in Plastic Surgery from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
